Caledonian Pool Services is the specialist division of Highland Boats Ltd. The company has for many years worked with local authorities to maintain waterslides, flumes and associated features found in local authority pools and leisure centres across the country.
In addition to the servicing of the rides themselves Caledonian Pool Services also maintains and manufactures a wide range of other products found on or near the poolside.
Recent developments in this area include the manufacture of a range of slides, water features, play tray’s for children’s interactive pools. A range of non-slip stair treads and landing covers which can be retro fitted to a wide range of locations in and around centres.
The company repairs and refurbishes:
By carrying out regular independent inspections of rides within centres local authorities will ensure that their equipment is not only safe they will also be doing their part to ensure compliance with BS EN 1069 regulations. From an operational view regular inspection also allows operators the opportunity to plan ahead with maintenance, reduce down time at critical periods and manage budgets going forward.
The process of inspection will also help identify potential risks from slips, trips, entrapment and defective signage not only on the rides themselves but on access stairs and the poolside in general.
Caledonian pools team bring with them many years of knowledge and understanding of working with GRP and the particular challenges of working in the leisure environment.
